Went with a Very Good friends of mine. She asked me did I want Haitian, Jamaican or Trinidadian food. I've never had Trini food, so she brought me here. My 1st experience was Very Nice. The food was Scrumptious, the server was Very Nice. Ms. Marlene was Excellent, very Attentive & very Friendly. Please make sure Marlene get recognized for her Excellent service. Marlene is Definitely an Asset to Joy's Roti Delight in Fort Lauderdale. In the beginning, we both thought we each looked familiar to each other . I'll will be back in the future. Thank you for not disappointing my 1st time eating Trinidadian food. I Loved Every Drop May Joy's Roti Delight be Continually be Blessed

Very nice owner, Miss Sheiila. Atmosphere is casual comfortable. Food is delicious. Bathrooms are a mess. An employee should be appointed to clean the bathrooms every hour on the hour. Too dirty for a food establishment. Customers should have proper manners to clean up after themselves! It's also time to upgrade the bathrooms.

Outstanding food each and every time I come here, from my childhood days when my family and I visited from New York, to now living in the Orlando area and making the drive a few times a year just for Joy's. Pholourie was hot and fresh with a juicy sour to cool it down perfectly and spice it right back up after a few bites. Doubles were absolutely delicious; the perfect blend of appetizing, a flare of spices, which will undoubtedly leave you craving for more. The bake & shark was so fresh and tasty with all the ingredients combined, I am already planning my next trip down to South Florida for this amazing food. 10/10 recommend

A Culinary Journey Worth Every Mile When you’re searching for the best authentic West Indian food from back home in Trinidad right here in South Florida, look no further than Joy’s. Today, I decided to revisit my roots and made the one-hour drive to Joy’s — and it was worth every mile and every minute of the wait. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of spices transported me straight back home. And one of the best parts of waiting for my order? Enjoying an ice-cold Carib — that unmistakable taste of Trinidad that set the perfect tone for the meal to come. The doubles were soft and perfectly spiced, the aloo pie crisp on the outside and pillowy within, and the curry chicken, beef, and goat all showcased layers of rich, slow-cooked flavor that only come from true mastery of the craft. The variety of roti was exceptional — each one fresh, tender, and the ideal pairing for those deeply flavorful curries. And then there was the Pholourie, golden and airy, served with that tangy-sweet tamarind sauce that captures the essence of island comfort. The surprise standout? The beef-stuffed doubles — a creative twist that was simply phenomenal. Joy’s isn’t just serving food; they’re serving tradition, nostalgia, and heart on every plate. If you’re craving a true taste of Trinidad, this is the spot that brings you right back home.

Delicious food. They got plenty of seats. To go order works fast as well. Employees are very friendly. Wide variety of items on the menu. From sweet to savory, they got it all. Their curry chicken was so good. Their tamarind chutney is delicious and unique. Brand new experience with Caribbean food. Would go again.

I visited Joy's Roti Delight while I was on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 11/15/2025. This was my first time eating carribean cuisine. I tried the Pholourie and it was delicious. I ordered the stewed oxtail for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not a fan of pumpkin at all, but I will eat it from Joy's Roti Delight. Each time that I visit Fort Lauderdale, I will stop at Joy's to try a different order from there menu. The service was phenomenal. The waitress that I had explained everything to me with the questions that I had which made my dining experience fantastic.

Drove quite a bit to experience this delicious food! Lots of seating and a good variety of dishes . Also have their custom made drinks. Loved the lime, peanut and mango drink. The paratha was delicious and so was the channa! It was a little loud around the bar area. Lots of parking available
